Why I Became a Wedding Officiant

The simplest answer is… I love love.

I used to dream about it—what it would feel like, how it would change my life. I’ve chased love, and I’ve run from it. I’ve fallen in love, and I’ve fallen out of it.

And through every version of it, I’ve learned something important: no matter how those stories ended, I wouldn’t change a thing—because experiencing love is what this life is all about.

Everyone deserves love. Everyone is worthy of love.

Now, I’m married—and this love is the most powerful I’ve ever known. It makes me stronger. It makes me better. And simply put, it makes me happy.

I love love. I’ll say it again and again.

That’s why I became a wedding officiant.

I wanted to stand in the middle of something real—to witness the love stories people are writing, and to be a part of that moment where everything begins.

To be the one who helps make it official—who stamps the cover of their story so they can go on and write their greatest adventures together.

I’m so proud to have taken this step in my life. And now, my only wish is to be part of as many beautiful love stories as I can.

Because love is powerful. Celebrating it is an honour. And being trusted to legalize it… that’s something truly special.

Signature Ceremony

A completely personalized ceremony created around the two of you - your story, your people, and the moments that brought you here.

Your ceremony includes:

  • A detailed planning consultation
  • A fully customized ceremony written from scratch
  • Your story woven throughout the ceremony
  • Personalized vows and ring-exchange options
  • Family acknowledgements, memorials and special moments
  • Option for unity ceremonies, handfasting or other meaningful traditions
  • Unlimited revisions until it feels right
  • Signing and completion of all legal requirements
  • A wedding rehearsal

Intimate/Civil Ceremony

A warm, meaningful ceremony with all the important moments - without the full personalized love story.

Your ceremony includes:

  • A planning consultation
  • A thoughtfully prepared ceremony
  • Welcome and opening words
  • Your choice of vows
  • Ring exchange, if desired
  • Personal touches and meaningful wording
  • Signing of the marriage documents
  • Legal declarations and pronouncement
  • Your choice of presentation as a married couple

Ideal for small gatherings, backyard weddings, smaller celebrations, elopements, or couples who want something heartfelt without an extensively customized ceremony. 

Family-Led Ceremony

Want someone you love to lead your ceremony?

Your best friend, sibling, parent or another special person can take center stage and tell your story, share memories and guide personal portions of your ceremony.

I'll be there to take care of the legal requirements, declarations, signing and everything necessary to make your marriage official. 

You get the best of both worlds - a ceremony led by someone who knows you deeply, with the confidence of knowing the legal details are professionally taken care of.
